One of the strategic goals of the Africa Evidence Network (AEN) is the advocacy of Africa’s leadership in the evidence-informed decision-making (EIDM) field. The annual Africa Evidence Leadership Award is the prime mechanism through which we achieve this goal. Since 2018, the award has been bestowed on any AEN member within the EIDM field in Africa who demonstrates a career of leadership within the EIDM space. This year, as we celebrate a decade since the birth of the AEN, we invited our past award winners and runners up to share their view about what has changed in the evidence-use ecosystem over the last ten years, and what role they think the AEN has played in that. We hope you enjoy this multi-part vlog series!
